Nambitha Ben Mazwai bags an international acting role on King Shaka

The South African actress shares exiting news that she will be joining the CBS family.

On this acting role the actress will play the character of Queen Bhibhi kaSompisi Ntuli on King Shaka, who is the beautiful, opportunistic ‘Great Wife’ of Senzangakhona and mother to Shaka’s half-brother Sigujana.

Ben-Mazwai shared on her socials that Charles Babalola is to play King Shaka on the film and she got to play along side him when she auditioned for the role.

Sunday Times also reported “I am particularly excited about this production, not only because we are getting an opportunity to tell our own stories to the world, but the team behind it is a stellar one and SHOWTIME is pulling out all the ranks on this one. Charles Babalola who leads as Shaka is an impeccable storyteller.”

According to Zalebs, the film has been in production since September 2022 and is reported that the production will take place here in Mzansi.

This actress is known for her stellar performances on chic flic movies and series, like Happiness Ever After, acting along side Khanyi Mbau and Renate Stuurman, Savage Beauty, How to Ruin Christmas as well as many other movie roles that she has under her name.

Entertainment commentator Kgopolo Mpela, also reported that Nambitha holds a six time international credit for  her leading roles on Netflix, making her the first South African actor to achieve this.

As good of an actor she is, the award winning actress holds a honors degree from the University of Cape Town (UCT) in Business Science.
