Natural ways to help reduce cellulite

Want to finish off this summer with a ready to wear swimsuit body? Here are a few things that can help you reduce cellulite on your body.

Medical News Today describes cellulite as a term for the formation of lumps and dimples in the skin, cellulite can affect both genders but mostly common on females, this is caused by different distribution of fat, muscle and connective tissue.

According to Healthshots these are some natural remedies that can help you at home to reduce cellulite:

Green tea

2-3 cups of green tea a day keeps you healthy and increases fat burning from your body, the tea can also help you remove toxins and improve your metabolism. Keeping up with your daily intake of the tea also helps to increase your blood flow and gives you a much healthier looking skin.

Regular exercises 

Healthshots says it has been proven that cellulite is a result of excess fat. It helps to exercise to help keep your body tight, for example, doing squats, jogging, cycling and other exercises that can help you keep your body in shape.

Coffee scrub

Coffee contains a great amount of antioxidants which can help you remove some of the dead cells from your body, you can also use it to help tighten your skin. Here is how you can use coffee:

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 tablespoons of coffee
  • Carrier oil/honey

Procedure:

  • Mix coffee with a carrier oil or honey in a bowl
  • Apply the paste on the area of cellulite
  • Massage with it in a circular motion on the areas with cellulite
  • Let it sit for 10 minutes allowing the coffee scrub to absorb in the skin
  • Rinse off with warm water
