South African musician DJ Tira recently launched his alcoholic brand called Bearing cyder, which was released at the beginning of December 2022. The alcohol beverage was launched at the perfect time as it is summer and most people are on holiday and are therefore looking forward to relaxing and sipping on refreshing beverages.

While promoting his alcoholic beverage in an Instagram live video the DJ claimed that the alcohol contains 6% of alcohol and catches up on you quickly.

DJ Tira’s alcoholic beverage can be purchased in different stores across South Africa.

Actress Mbalenhle Mavimbela has ventured into the wine business as she launched her range of wine.

While speaking to Drum, the actress said she put in the time to do her due diligence about wines.

She said owning her product was vital and not just serving as a brand ambassador, so she researched many wineries in Cape Town to prepare.

The Wife star’s new wine brand is called Moments.

The actress will be releasing Merlot and a red blend, and the wines will be available to purchase online.

“I am first introducing the red wine, and next year I will launch the white wine. What I particularly like about Moments is that it is great for everyone to enjoy, not just the ladies. Men generally do not like sweet wines, so with Moments, we were able to strike a balance, and it’s in the middle,” she told the publication.

The beast: Tendai Mtawarira

Former Springbok rugby player Tendai Mtawarira also joined the South African alcohol brand as he launched a collection of wines.

The much-loved South African rugby player has a long-standing and renowned career on the rugby field, where he earned himself the title of “The Beast.”

Tendai’s wine collection consists of his values and principles of excellence, resilience and passion. As a “secret wine lover,” the launch of the wine brand was a natural fit for the former rugby player turned businessman.

Tendai has collaborated with SMCG wine to produce an elegant collection of wines to fit the essence of the Beast’s collection.

The Beast collection consists of an MCC Brut, Syrah/Cabernet Sauvignon, rosé and a Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon. The wines can be purchased online at SMCG Wine. Tendai and SMCG plan to take the wine collection global, offering people the opportunity to savour the authentic flavours of the Western Cape’s wine region.

According to Food24, The Beast Wine collection is the first fully traceable wine collection in the world. Each bottle includes a unique and secure identification label in the form of a QR barcode to verify its authenticity.

The QR code indicates its origin and links to a website where more information about each wine can be found.
