BERRY BAKE WELL SMOOTHIE BOWL .

Time to bring back one of my favourite breakfasts for a heatwave . I adore cherry & almond together so this refreshing cherry bake-well inspired smoothie bowl is a go-to breakfast on a hot day.

One of the refreshing and most light meal for the morning but will fill you up for half  of the day the berry bake well smoothie bowl.

So easy & super quick to prepare, this tastes like you’re eating dessert for breakfast .

Put berries in the pot to melt very quickly in  heat , so if you want it to be really thick, cover the bowl & place it in the freezer for 5-10 minutes after blending. It goes really light and mousse-like after being in the freezer, just dreamy .

Recipe (serves 1):
1. Add 80g frozen cherries, 125g Greek yoghurt & 15g ground almonds to a blender. You could also add a drop of almond extract to enhance the almond flavour.
2. Optional: add 1 scoop of protein powder (I used white chocolate flavour, vanilla would also work).
3. Blend until smooth. I added 40g rolled oats halfway through blending to add some slow release carbs, but feel free to leave these out if you prefer.
4. Spoon into a bowl, then top with some more frozen cherries & flaked almonds. Enjoy!
