Who will fill in Bafana’s midfield?

Bafana’s head coach, Hugo Broos, has a major selection headache in the middle of the park. Teboho Mokoena, Jayden Adams, Talenthe Mbatha, Kamogelo Sebelebele, Thapelo Maseko, and Relebohile Mofokeng are all available and pushing hard. Who makes your starting midfield?

Why did Themba Zwane and Sphephelo Sithole get red cards?

Themba Zwane

The Mamelodi Sundowns player was dismissed in the 84th minute following a VAR review. The referee deemed his actions to be violent conduct after he flung an arm and caught Mexico’s Roberto Alvarado in the face while running past.

Sphephelo Sithole

The midfielder was sent off in the 49th minute for a professional foul. He brought down Mexico’s Brian Gutiérrez just outside the penalty box, resulting in a red card for denying a clear goal-scoring opportunity.
