Orlando Pirates face Kruger United under the Mbombela lights

Orlando Pirates return to Premiership action tonight, Tuesday, 1 September 2026, as they take on Kruger United F.C. at Mbombela Stadium.  

Kick-off is scheduled for 19:30, with both sides set for an important battle under the lights.

A clash to look forward to

For the Buccaneers, tonight presents another opportunity to make their mark in the South African Premiership.  

Pirates will be looking to combine attacking quality with defensive discipline as they aim to secure maximum points in front of a passionate crowd. 

Kruger United F.C. will arrive with their own ambitions and will be determined to make life difficult for the Soweto giants.  

With three points at stake, the visitors will know that a strong start and concentration throughout the 90 minutes could be crucial.
