REVIEW: LG Q60

by Kwanele Mathebula
LG Q60

Our features writer Fundiswa Nkwanyana shares her thoughts on the new LG Q60 smartphone.

FIRST IMPRESSION

LG Q60

When I opened the box, I was impressed by the phone’s 6.25 inch display screen with round corners that make it easy to hold. The screen is crystal clear and sharp with a great colour contrast. It also doesn’t have a glare when using it outdoors. I loved that it’s not heavy and bulky, which makes it easy to use with just one hand. I was also impressed by its exterior design that makes it look elegant.

The most important feature in a phone for me is the camera. So, I was disappointed with the 13MP front camera that took average pictures and videos. The camera features are limited, and I was not blown away by the quality of the pictures and videos. However, it was perfect for checking and responding to emails when I was not in the office. I could also easily access my documents, and the screen was big enough for me to open attachments and type documents. I also enjoyed playing games and watching videos on the phone because of the size of the screen. I was impressed with the phone’s battery life which lasts longer than most phones, and charges quickly.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

This is a budget smartphone with basic features that are standard than most smartphones. I highly recommend it as an entry level phone.
