On X, @AdvoBarryRoux urged people against wishing death on the former president, writing: “Those who are wishing death upon Jacob Zuma should remember that life is in God’s hands.”

Another account, MK Party Stan, declared that Zuma was “healthier than ever,” while @KingShaka79 expressed hope that the former president would live long.

Zuma was admitted to Netcare St Anne’s Hospital in Pietermaritzburg on 6 October. The MK Party initially described the admission as a routine medical check-up, which it said he undergoes twice a year.

The Jacob G. Zuma Foundation has said he is recovering well and remains in high spirits. However, conflicting reports about his discharge and condition have continued.
