A TikTok user named Hlengi Nkosi who goes by the handle itshlengy is a jack-of-all-trades digital content creator who focuses her content on fashion, food, and hair tutorials. Hlengi recently took to TikTok to “plug you guys” with an affordable wig that is under R100, this gained traction as the TikTok streets went abuzz upon receiving the video.
Hlengi is no stranger to pointing her subscribers, followers, and other internet users toward the directions of all her affordable findings and tutorials that she comes across. Upon finding and purchasing this affordable wig, Hlengi decided to share details regarding the wig purchase rather than gatekeeping the “affordable wig plug.”
To introduce the video that displays various qualities of the wig such as the length, colour, texture, and many other aspects, she said: “Today I’m going to plug you guys with this really cute wig. It was really cheap, it cost under R100s. [So] if you don’t believe me, here is the proof of how much it is.”
She then shows the price at which she purchased the wig – R89.99 – and goes on to style the wig. As she continues to style it, Hlengi explains that she is going for a rather “wetish look.” To obtain this look, she uses avocado oil and stylish gel.
