A man shared a video of himself saying that they were about to pass a tollgate that cost R118.

Tollgate fees are paid to maintain, operate and improve toll roads and service the debt fee used to implement toll roads, says Arrive Alive.

The video shared by a wedding filmmaker under his account @ndamulelombuwe, gained a lot of interaction after he was shocked about the price of the Machado Plaza tollgate in Mpumalanga.

In the video that is captioned, “Is this the most expensive tollgate in South Africa?” the guy expresses his shock. He explained, “We are going to shoot a cinematic wedding invite, three round dovel in Gaskop so we have a beautiful cinematic wedding inviting coming up.”

“But now I have an R118 tollgate that I need to pay, and I am not looking forward to it, I am not acting I am not,” he added.

Many other TikTokers shared their views, “Middleburg Plaza is R79 100km to Machado Plaza R118 meaning from Witbank to Nelspruit R200 this is too much guys.”

One user asked, “What is so special about this toll because they don’t give us food when we pass there Reya Bushbuckridge.”

“That is the most expensive tollgate in SA, we as Mpumalanga people cry every time we go home,” added another one.

Another one said: “People are always complaining but they forget to mention that route is the best clean also there are no potholes.”
