The creator goes by the username @eatwithkakes and known who sharing her cooking recipes on the app went all out when it came to shopping for sweets.

She embodied what it meant to have a sweet craving as she showcased the snack harvest that she brought at a sweet depot.

A depot is a wholesaler store that sells products in bulk as the cost of living rises, as most shoppers prefer buying in bulk as it saves money. These stores usually sell everything from toiletries, food, and homeware appliances to school supplies.

In the video that gained the massive popularity, the creator shows off her snack restock with a variety of snacks ranging from chocolates, chips and everything sweet.

TikTok users were shocked by this haul given how much she spent on the snacks with some even suggesting cheaper wholesalers.

Another user asked where the depot was situated.

Another user said, “Do they allow online orders?”

A TikTok user commented: “That’s most of my food budget for the month.” (adding a sad emoji)

Another user saw this video as a business opportunity given the quantity of things you get for the R1,9k.

One user said: “R1,9 thousand is a lot of money when buying sweets.”
