Doing laundry is never at the top of the list of things to do when coming home from work or over the weekend. For this reason, many of us have developed our own laundry hacks providing the same clean results.

Ragavan suggests trying the following laundry hacks the next time you are staring at an overflowing laundry basket:
- Chalk is very absorbent and rubbing a bit on an oily kitchen cloth can eliminate the grease. Once you have rubbed it on the relevant spot, leave it to absorb the oil before brushing it off. If a little oil remains, rub it again before washing.
- To avoid the unexplained disappearing sock, place all socks in a mesh laundry bag before putting them into the washing machine. The socks will be cleaned and, more importantly, kept together.

- Gruelling exercise sessions can have others turning their noses up at you. To get rid of this odour it is advisable to soak your clothes in a half a cup of vinegar mixed with cold water for at least an hour before putting them into the wash. The vinegar will help break down the sweat stains and remove any unpleasant odours.
When it comes to doing the laundry, we all know that it must be done even though we don’t feel like it. Adding these hacks to your routine will make it more manageable and elevate you from unwanted extra duties.
