Internet users have rallied behind a woman who spoke out about not having a place to call home after losing her parents.
A TikTok creator who goes by the username @tubbynodbs was emotional when she spoke about her situation of not having any support from her current family members and a home to go back to.
This video came after other creators on TikTok explained how it is nice to go back home during a university break or when one’s work contract ends, causing @tubbynodbs to share her sentiments on that as she wished to have the same privilege. She later mentions that growing up her parents rented and when they died they had no home and no inheritance for them.
She says, “I have no home to back to and my parents left nothing, my aunts and uncles are not supportive and I don’t blame my parents for that, at least they tried.”
Many users took this opportunity to realise how fortunate they were to have a home to go back to when things were not going well.

One user empathised with the creator saying, “I feel you, babe, when I lost my job the first thing I did was to get my benefits and build myself a shack as I had nowhere to go.”
Another user said: “I am humbled, I just realised that I am not grateful enough to God. May God provide for you and your sister.”
A TikTok user shared how when her mother died she left two houses but because of family feuds she was not allowed inside them and that when she had to do traditional she had to sort herself out.
