Family spokesperson, Percy Vilakazi, has confirmed the memorial service and funeral details for the late Akhumzi Jezile.
In a statement, Percy said the family is humbled by the continued outpouring of love, support and prayers they have received from people who were touched by his life.
“The time has come for us to bid our son, friend and colleague farewell and celebrate his life while keeping his memory alive,” says Percy.

It has also been confirmed that Joyous Celebration singer Siyasanga Kobese, actor Thobani Mseleni known for his role as Bhutana on drama series Intersexions, as well Skhumbuzo Mbuthama who worked as an IT specialist at Urban Brew Studios also passed away in the same accident.
The accident took place in the Eastern Cape on Saturday 28 April.
Fans have been invited to a memorial service as well as Akhumzi’s funeral that will take place this week.
