Norma Gigaba suits up in style

by Bridgette Matjuda
Norma Gigaba

From the tailored fit to her colour choices, she slays at power dressing. Here are the 7 times she showed us that she meant business.

1. Norma looks ready to conquer the world in a double-breasted suit jacket and slim fit cropped pants.

2. A waistcoat is a great alternative to a suit jacket, and this navy coordination balanced with white and black is just right.

As an entrepreneur, you should be start planning for 2018 if you haven’t already. If you plan to grow and scale your business, then you should always be planning, measuring and analyzing. 2018 is fast approaching and if your are on top of things, then you should already have a clear vision of what the first 3 months of 2018 look like. If you haven’t started,do a research now what was your highs and lows of 2017 and also get the feedback from your regular clients. Try to work on your weaknesses and do better in 2018. You should by now already created your budget for the first 3 months in 2018, if you haven’t try to push yourself in these last 2 months to make something. You know your income by now so try to spend wisely . Know what products and services you will be rolling out, Who you plan to collaborate/partner with, what steps you will implement to get this done. As an entrepreneur…you always need to be one step ahead. Don’t be afraid to ask those who are already successful, prepare to learn and correct your mistakes. Improving and growing yourself as an individual will grow your business. Surround yourself with great people, trust me “conversation is better”. All the best in your planning even those who are starting something new ✊?

3. A classic example of corporate chic pulled off with ease in maroon.

Time for change: If you are serious about change, you have to go through uncomfortable situations. Stop trying to dodge the process , it’s the only way to grow. If you ever wish to be an entrepreneur but you are working 8 hours & more for someone else, start by investing one hour to your goals every time you get home. I know some are working in a demanding jobs that leave you exhausted at the end of the day, but all successful people started there. No matter how tired you are from putting in all mental & physical energy towards someone else’s dream, you shouldn’t stop putting in hours on yourself even if it may sometimes seem inordinate, but it can be done or accomplished. Start slowly ,put all your amazing ideas into action, push yourself harder for yourself ✊?. Start building your own thing, through that exhaustion and knowing that one day it will be worth it. Be inspired by your own ideas and believe in you. Put your eyes on the prize not on the current situation. You can’t continue to sacrifice to make someone else’s dream come true, putting in all those hours, the great ideas & innovation but hardly putting the same effort for yourself. Just get up and unleash the best in you. Be motivated by you . Dig deeper for extra energy and slay your goals, with positive mindset , everything is possible ???

4. We love how Norma switches up her heels for loafers, and does androgyny with absolute class.

If it happened that you resigned at work and started your own business but now you are at the moment where you are regretting or doubting yourself why you took that decision because things are not working out according to your plan. I want to encourage you, you need to understand that good things take time and success doesn’t come over night, especially when you need to fund your business from your own pocket. At times knocking door to door looking for a funding can drain you even when you get it sometimes people (clients) take time to respond to your business and understand it. It’s more difficult when it’s a new product in the market, same applies if it’s a common product because you have a lot of competitors and you need to convince customers how are you different from others. Uniqueness is key. Work consistently, show up and follow all the steps even when you don’t see the results yet… just know that things will manifest at the right time. Don’t give up because you don’t see immediate results. It takes a day and night, long hours ,sleepless nights to put things together,it will cost you financially, sometimes you will get drained emotionally and feel like giving up is an option but don’t…that’s nature of an entrepreneur and business itself. You must be patient and put more effort …it will happen ✊?✊?

5. She gets her colour coordination spot on in emerald green and tan.

You don’t need to make another woman feel less ..for you to feel you are enough. You don’t have to intentionally tearing down another woman in an attempt to build yourself up. You don’t need to step on another woman’s toe for recognition. You can succeed and shine without pushing another woman down. Don’t let your personal issues ,insecurities or emotions get the best of you and cause you to destroy the best in someone else. If you want to win , focus on building and growing you. Make another woman special, loved and valued. You don’t need to hurt other people to move to the next level but make an effort to build with them. #winningisamindset ???
