MaXhosa Africa returns to Paris Fashion Week 2024 with the MAXHONNAISSE collection.

Fashion hub, Fashion Force Africa, states that this collection will launch in Paris on the 27th of September.

Speaking to the hub on his upcoming launch, Chief Creative Director, Laduma Ngxokolo says, “African luxury is often defined by those on the outside looking in. MAXHONNAISSE challenges this perception. It’s about showcasing what luxury truly means to us – a fusion of refinement, craftsmanship, and a deep connection to cultural heritage.”

Since launching his brand in 2010, Laduma has gone on to dress local and international celebrities such as former US First Lady Michelle Obama, Sarah Jakes-Roberts and Alicia Keys to name a few.

GQ adds that this launch will be part of the SS25 collection, that former Minister of Sports, Arts and Culture and South African Ambassador to France, Nathi Mthethwa said:

“We are honoured to host MaXhosa Africa at the South African Embassy during Paris Fashion Week, as part of our continuous efforts to support South African fashion designers in France for them to gain access and thrive in international markets. In particular, we are pleased to continue our longstanding support for the MaXhosa Africa brand. It is with a great sense of pride and joy to see how the brand has grown over the years, and we are excited to witness MaXhosa Africa reach yet another milestone, breaking barriers and inspiring other South Africans.”
