How to stop your glasses from ruining your makeup

For those of you who love makeup, and do not mind rocking up at 8 am for work in full glam, wearing glasses might be a fashionable addition and a necessity, however at times it can be a bit of a struggle.

If you’ve ever made the effort to perfect your foundation only to have your glasses smear your mascara or leave marks on the bridge of your nose. It’s a never-ending struggle between wanting to look your best and navigating the “glasses vs. makeup” dilemma.

Sometimes it seems like face beat and glasses don’t go well together, from sliding frames to unsightly smudges and dents.

We understand that even though you want to sport a perfect cat eye, those annoying glasses seem intent on undermining your efforts. You should never let wearing glasses prevent you from feeling confident about your appearance or enjoying your beauty regimen.

Fortunately, you can maintain your makeup placement and appearance all day long, even when you’re not wearing it, with a few smart adjustments and hacks. Here’s how to turn them into your best friend instead of your frenemy.

Take it easy on the foundation: Less is more when it comes to the spaces beneath your frames!

Set it and forget it: Never forget the setting spray, the superhero of long-wearing makeup, for added hold.

Make your nose pads glasses-proof: Try applying a little amount of translucent powder on the nose pads of your glasses that dig into your skin to reduce pressure and sliding.
