Your skin is a reflection of what you eat, as the saying goes, “You are what you eat,” learning to take care of your skin can be difficult, especially if you’re always busy.

The skincare information hub, Health Shots, states that most people want to have attractive, glowing skin. As a result, people adhere to a variety of dermatologist-approved skincare treatments.

You can delay the indications of ageing and avoid difficulties if you take good care of your skin with a proper regimen and healthy living habits. However, to achieve optimal results for your skincare goals it’s crucial to adhere to basic principles in skin maintenance.

The Be Mind Body Skin information hub offers the following seven techniques to nourish your skin:

  1. Drink water: To keep your skin healthy, make sure to drink enough water when it feels dry.

  2. Use natural face masks: Mix honey, chickpea (besan) powder and turmeric together. Put it on your skin for 20-25 minutes then wash off with cold water.

  3. Choose sandalwood for cooling, blackhead remedy and enhanced complexion: This plant is recommended in the Ayurvedic autumn programme for application to the body. Simply combine 1 teaspoon of sandalwood powder with coconut milk and apply it to your skin as a paste. Wait twenty minutes before washing off with warm water.

  4. Eat healthily: Vegetables like leafy greens and red or orange peppers are really good for you because they have lots of Vitamin A & C.

  5. Exercise: Proper bodily mobility promotes proper blood circulation, which keeps the skin nourished and healthy.

  6. Take warm showers instead of hot showers: It is often advised to use warm water rather than hot water.

  7. Get 8 hours of rest: Not getting enough rest leads to stress and can cause a lot of skin issues such as acne. You can reduce stress by sleeping well and meditating.
