You’ve tried every product on the market to fix your dry scalp, but nothing seems to work. A dry scalp can be uncomfortable. But the good news is, there are many home remedies you can try to alleviate the problem.

Here are five of the best suggested by Best Products, information hub with beauty products:

  1. Coconut oil: Apply coconut oil to the scalp, leave it on for 20 minutes, then shampoo as usual.
  2. Apple cider vinegar: Mix equal parts apple cider vinegar and water and apply it to the scalp. Leave it on for 10 minutes, then rinse.
  3. Lemon juice: Mix lemon juice with a carrier oil, like coconut or jojoba oil. Apply to the scalp and leave it on for 15 minutes before rinsing lemon juice is an astringent, so it can help reduce oil production and treat dandruff. Just be sure to dilute it with a carrier oil to avoid irritation.
  4. Epsom salt: Dissolve two tablespoons of Epsom salt in a cup of warm water, then massage it into the scalp. Let it sit for 20 minutes, then rinse.
  5. Aloe vera: Apply fresh aloe vera gel to the scalp and leave it on for 30 minutes before rinsing. Aloe vera has anti-inflammatory properties, which can soothe and moisturize the scalp.

In conclusion, while dry scalp can be a frustrating and even embarrassing condition, a lifestyle information hub Treehugger adds that there are plenty of natural remedies that can help alleviate the problem. So, ditch the expensive products and give one of these home remedies a try – your scalp will thank you!
