The SAFTA award winning breakfast show, Expresso will soon inject a new breath of life into their mornings.

Very soon, 5FM radio presenter Zanele Potelwa will be greeting every South African tuning onto SABC3 with her bright smile and vibrant personality as she starts her new job as the brand-new presenter on the Expresso Show.

Speaking about what the next step in her career meant to her, the bubbly personality could not contain her excitement.

“When we speak of dreams coming true, working for Cardova and the Expresso Morning Show is exactly that,” says Zanele.

“A few years ago, when Expresso had their presenter search, I didn’t enter, but I still posted a video online of how I would have entered, had I been able to at the time.”

The award-winning presenter says that she has always been a big fan and being part of the show is something she has always dreamt of doing.

“I can’t believe I get to start this new journey! It’s a huge career highlight getting to be part of many South Africans’ mornings by waking them up in the best way possible, on S3.”

By achieving this milestone in her career, the 29-year-old aims to remind the youth that their dreams are valid and that blessings delayed are not always blessings denied.

“I’m beyond grateful to God for this amazing opportunity and to the mighty SABC for trusting me and to Cardova for believing in me. I can’t wait to wake up with South Africa on Expresso and to have lunch with them on the airwaves during my radio show!”

“It’s exciting to see Zanele crossover between SABC radio and TV channels as she adds her fresh voice to conversations on the platforms. Her vibrant personality and deep-rooted connection to the SABC make her the perfect fit for this dynamic platform,” adds Lala Tuku, Head of local Productions at the SABC.
