After social media influencer Gcinile Twala’s sex tape was leaked on social media platform X (formally known as Twitter), allegedly by her former lover and forex trader Themba “Grootman” Silahle, she went on to open a case against him.
The sex tape comes after a series of threats by the get rich quick master to his daughter’s mother, promising to hurt her where it hurts the most if she did not return some of the things he bought her.
Gcinile and Grootman were known as a flashy couple, often potraying their “soft life” for many to see.
Their relationship was however full of ups and downs as Grootman was accused of scamming people, dragging his girlfriend’s name in the mud too.
After social media called for Grootman to be arrested for leaking their sex tape which only showed Gcinile’s face, she indeed opened a case with the police.
Her lawyer went live on social media today and spoke of what she thought of her client and her ordeal, saying:
“When I saw the videos of Gcinile, she knows I told her that I’ve always been one of the people that’s been saying, this girl is the biggest popeyes that I’ve ever met in my life.”
Turning to Gcinile who was with her in the room she said, “You truly are by the way Gcinile, you are a popeye. In my life, you’ve never stopped being a popeye.”
She went on to add that she was helping Gcinile pro-bono commenting:
“I could have easily asked for R50k clean, and say Gcinile, give me this money and I must sort this thing out for you. I didn’t ask for a single cent. All I wanted to do was help, so he will go to jail.”
Certain that she had a strong case on the accused, the lawyer added, “I am betting money on it, I’m willing to give anybody money, to bet on the fact that he will go to jail.”
