Light the candles and make a toast as media personality, Bonang Matheba once again kicked off her birthday celebrations in signature style. In the voice of our very own – “Where’s the champagne darling!?”
After spending numerous years in the South African spotlight, hosting tons of lavish events, while achieving numerous personal career goals along the way, it might be difficult for some to comprehend that Bonang Matheba, or Queen B, as she is affectionately referred to, is still under the 40 mark.
The former Top Billing presenter recently celebrated her 38th birthday, and by the looks of it, there is no slowing down on any of the things she still plans to achieve.
Taking to Instagram, she recently kicked off the celebrations with a beautiful black and white photoshoot, capturing her timelessness and ability to remain an important public figure across generations.

Later she shared a video showcasing all of the behind-the-scenes actions ahead of the big day.
“Very special day for me today, I’m shooting my birthday pictures! It is almost my birthday, but I thought that this year, I want to make it very editorial and very different from what I am used to doing.”

She also took to her Instagram stories to share some of the celebrations with family and friends, not forgetting her signature BNG as the main beverage.
