“You are not the father”

In August this year, a TikTok user called Angel White accused uBab’Lavo of being a deadbeat father. The Lavo couple shared a statement in August that they will be taking a paternity test as they handle the issue.

“We want to confirm that the matter is being handled through the appropriate legal channels. DNA tests have been scheduled, and court dates have been set,” the couple wrote.

On 6 October 2026, the couple confirmed that uBab’Lavo is not the biological father of the child, clearing his name of the deadbeat allegations made against him by White.

“The DNA results are in, and they confirm that my husband is not the father of the child.” The wife shared in a long social media post. Along with a cut-off picture of the alleged paternity test document.

Angela White responds

White responded on her TikTok to the results with a message stating that she is taking time to process the situation.

“The DNA results received today came back negative; the outcome was definitely unexpected,” she wrote. She asked for space to process the information and what it meant before speaking on the matter.

Internet reacts

The whole issue has gone viral, shocking people who believed the young lady who accused uBab’Lavo. Social media users felt sorry for the couple, pointing out they were attacked and insulted when the accusation came out.

One social media user even apologised for the statements they made when the accusations came out.

“I’m here to apologise. I take full responsibility for my words, which I can’t retract, but the whole situation has taught me to stop meddling in other people’s affairs without facts. I’m sorry, guys,” The user wrote.
