Tyla’s ‘Jump’ lands on Barack Obama’s 2024 summer playlist

The Tyger fanbase celebrated another victory from international award-winning superstar Tyla after she made it to the former US President, Barack Obama’s 2024 summer playlist.

Since gracing screens with her angelic voice and dance moves, Tyla has gone on to win many international and local awards for her songs, and while her hit single ‘Water’ made it to the list last year another single has made it to the list this year.

Both singles part of her self-titled album released earlier this year have gained the massive popularity of viewers globally.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) the 44th US President said:

“With summer winding down, I wanted to share some songs that I’ve been listening to lately – and it wouldn’t be my playlist if it didn’t include an eclectic mix. I hope you find something new to listen to!”

Tyla was one of the many international acts to be a part of the former president’s Summer playlist alongside acts such as; Beyonce, Billie Eilish, GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion just to name a few.
