The stand up comedian, known as Tol Ass Mo, was acquitted from being falsely accused of rape by actress and model, Lerato Moloi. The comedian detailed everything that happened during the case on Podcast and Chill with MacG and Sol.

The multimedia personality was trending for two consecutive days after his colorful interview on the podcast.

What seemed to baffle some people on twitter was the statement the comedian made whilst referring to what Lerato said during the proceedings of the case “it could have been his dark aura that raped me,” Lerato said during the case proceeding.

There were many allegations made by the Comedian that shook twitter, he continued saying “women use the term rape so lightly” where he was being interviewed by MacG, who has recently been under fire for allegedly promoting rape culture. One twitter activist page called Women for Change wrote “MacG is an enabler of misogyny and rape culture.”

MacG is an enabler of misogyny and rape culture. Maybe he should stop giving alleged rapists, abusers, and murderers a platform and he won’t lose sponsorship… #podcastandchillwithmacg pic.twitter.com/GoSl3d6SCO

Tol Ass Mo, who’s real name is Mongezi Mahlangu took to Instagram stating “the truth will always come up, God is no fool. This is before he released a press statement about the case he was accused of. The statement read:

“After two years, a court of law concluded and eventually confirmed that Ms. Moloi made false claims and her accusations were “poorly fabricated” and that she was a dishonest and unreliable witness.”
