Whoever was left in charge of the love department has been extremely strict this year, as some of our favourite celebrity couples have not made it to the end together. Shortly after his breakup with fellow DJ, Thuli Phongolo, DJ Maphorisa has teased a new ‘heartbreak’ song that fans believe is about his ex-lover.

DJ Maphorisa’s name is constantly on people’s lips, whether it is about his music, love life, scandals or his escapades that he gets up to. This time, the renowned producer has come out with a new song, that deviates from his usual club bangers that he has come to be popular for.

Instead, the new song the popular DJ has previewed is titled ‘Love you forever‘, featuring Phila Dlozi and XDuppy. In the short clip, his alter ego ‘Madumane’ shows off his vocal abilities in the slow, mellow song. This might be evidence of him spending too much time with Kabza, who is known more for this kind of sound.

Upon hearing Madumane pouring his heart out on this new tune, internet users have concluded that the renowned DJ and producer is singing about none other than Thuli P as he sings ‘I will love you forever’ with intense passion. Furthermore, some supporters joke about the bag Maphorisa is holding in the video preview, claiming that it is one of the ones he repossessed from Thuli.
