Thandolwethu Thando Mokoena, the daughter of media personality, Pearl Thusi and renowned sports broadcaster and businessman, Walter Mokoena recently turned heads with her stunning black gown that she wore to her school prom.
Thando proudly shared multiple pictures of herself in her black and gold boob-tube dress designed by famous designer Gert Coetzee. In the pictures shared, the lady of the moment is joined by her parents and her family for a family picture before she goes to the school farewell.
In another post, Thando penned a special note to Gert, thanking him for the dress he had designed for her. She mentioned that the dress was everything she dreamt and more, and proceeded to give Gert his flowers for his outstanding work.
“You are an incredible designer, I had an amazing time brainstorming this dress with you and it came out even better than we both imagined. I am beyond proud of the work you have done and beyond grateful for all you have done for me. I love you,” she penned.
Responding to the compliments, Gert said: “Thank you so much for your kind words Thando. I’m thrilled you loved the dress and that it exceeded your expectations. I also had a blast brainstorming with you – it was such a joy to bring your vision to life. You looked absolutely beyond and I’m honoured to have been a part of making your special night even more memorable. Wishing you only the best for next year when you start a new chapter.”
