Shocker as Biggie evicts Ash-ley Ogle in a surprising twist

This season of Big Brother Mzansi oozes umlilo (fire), with Big Brother throwing curve balls to housemates and viewers every now and then.

Recently, Big Brother threw a spanner on the works when they ordered housemates to vote for a housemate they would like to see leave immediately, right after Siyabonga ‘Swiss’ Mlangeni won the Head of House (HOH) challenge.

Ash-ley Ogle and Nsuku Mabunda were tied with four votes each when Swiss had to step in and choose which housemate would be evicted between the two. His choice had Ash-ley joining Luzuko, Sipha Lee, Ezra and other evicted housemates on the flip side sooner than she anticipated.

Her lover in the house, Sweet Guluva, born Akhonamathemba Mbele and some of the viewers were distraught by this decision with some celebrating her exit. Those celebrating argued that Sweet Guluva will now focus on the game and play for the 2 million rands at stake, while some were rejoicing that the ‘rape apologist’ as they labelled her, was gone with her friend Bonnie Bee after the duo had insensitive discussions about Kay B, following her disclosure of her rape incidents.

Ash-ley’s X (formerly Twitter) page shared a message of gratitude to her supporters and promised that this is not the end of the road for Ash-ley, but the start of something new.

Amid the back-and-forth discussions on the socials, with some hoping that this is not a real eviction and some sharing clips of themselves crying after Ash-ley’s eviction. X users expressed their opinions.

While some who were shattered by this unexpected eviction vowed to not watch the show again and will only vote when Sweet Guluva is up for eviction, some viewers made a vow to themselves to not support any housemates in the upcoming seasons to protect their hearts.
