Shippers react to alleged Ash-ley Ogle voicenote plotting to hide pregnancy

An alleged voicenote of Ash-ley Ogle of Big Brother Mzansi season 5 admitting to being pregnant has found its way to social media, and as expected, fans want to get to the bottom of whether this is real or fake news.

Since stepping into the limelight during her unexpectedly short tenure in the Big Brother house, Ash-ley Ogle has become a hot commodity in the entertainment industry, as fans of the show believe she possesses the star power needed to make it in the real world. The 26 year-old Durban native become one of the popular housemates this season, due to some controversy where she as labelled a rape apologist and potential racist.

Her steamy romantic spark with the competition’s eventual winner, Sweet Guluva, also became a major talking point for watchers on social media, as they appeared to not be able to stop gushing over the couple, propelling them to become fan-favourites, even after Ash-ley’s unexpected elimination from the show.

Since Sweet Guluva’s emphatic win, the couple has remained the main topic as fans keep close tabs on whether they are still together or have split up, as some rumours have stated. Recently, a voicenote alleged to be recorded by Ash-ley, where she reveals a ploy revolving around her alleged pregnancy, has started making rounds on social media. In this voicenote, the voice that fans believe belongs to Ash-ley can be heard saying, ” I don’t plan for everybody to see that I’m pregnant, it’s not showing now… and when the time comes, I’m sure I can deny it.”

Although some fans have blatantly expressed that they believe that the recording is AI, some have raised their eyebrows, and have expressed that the rumours are true, while some remain on the fence. Those who believe this recording have expressed shock at the news, and wonder whether Sweet Guluva would be the father, or another unknown man. Ash-ley’s critics also highlight how ironic it would be if Ash-ley fell pregnant by Sweet Guluva after the distasteful comments she made about Mshini and being a single mother.
