Just when we thought things in Mzumbe were as chaotic as can be, it is alleged that Uthando Nesthembu star Mpumelelo Mseleku has a lot to process as he was reportedly involved in a fatal shooting of an intruder in his mother’s home.
Uthando Nesthembu has become one of the most popular and most watched reality TV shows mzansi has to offer, and that can be attributed to the Mseleku family’s ability to give viewers exactly what they want, which is drama, chaos and even more drama.
As mzansi continues to be well immersed in the franchise’s eighth season, speculation of an intrusion gone wrong in Nokukhanya ‘MaYeni’ Yeni’s household continues to make waves on social media. Although the family has not released an official statement regarding the incident, social media users have taken it upon themselves to dig up what they can about this ordeal and the details have had us flabbergasted.

Reports reveal that the intruder, who internet users claim is Samke’s ex-boyfriend came into the Mzumbe home looking for Musa Mseleku, which is when he found Mpumelelo instead. Upon seeing that the intruder was armed, Mpumelelo allegedly went to take his gun, which he shot the intruder with four times, allegedly killing him.
Social media has been buzzing since the breaking of the news, as users discuss whether they believe Mpumelelo, who they affectionately refer to as Sbindi will have to face criminal charges for this, or whether it will be deemed as self-defence, seeing that the intruder was armed with unknown intentions.
