While most parts of the country are experiencing the freezing cold of the African winter, the Strauss family cannot relate to any of it, as their home is now filled with even more warmth and love after the former Miss World Rolene Strauss officially gave birth to her third child.
The 32–year–old medical doctor took to her Instagram page sharing the news with her followers in what was a special moment for her and her family.
With a gallery of pictures accompanying the post, she wrote:
“Our dearest arrived yesterday afternoon at 17h30 at 40 weeks and four days, weighing 4.14kgs.
“Daniel Strauss and my mom never left my side! The boys drew hearts on my forearms before we left for the hospital – this kept me going through labour! They adore their baby brother!”
Rolene further mentioned that she and her newborn are healthy and happy and that her body is healing.
“All praise to God! Grateful for the nurses and doctors, and my prayer warriors who never stopped praying.”

In recent months the – now mother of three boys has been candid about her pregnancy journey, filming both the highs and lows of being pregnant – despite this, the former Miss South Africa would not trade it for anything in this world.
In a touching Mother’s Day post, she reflected on the joys of motherhood writing:
“It’s not in the big and significant moments that we find our purpose and joy as mothers, but in the intimate moments witnessed by few.”
