Partey too important to lose

Writing for Soccermag, Dylan explains how losing Partey would be a major blow, especially with Jorginho also likely to depart, further depleting Arsenal’s midfield experience. Since arriving from Atlético Madrid in 2020, Partey has played a pivotal role in Mikel Arteta’s project, proving his value despite injury setbacks. His versatility has been key this season, even covering at right-back in Ben White’s absence.

Partey’s presence enables Declan Rice and Martin Ødegaard to thrive, while his defensive awareness and passing ability make him irreplaceable. With top clubs like Barcelona and Juventus reportedly interested, Arsenal must not let him walk away for free. With a title push in mind, Johnson argues that keeping Partey is essential, allowing Arsenal to focus their budget on attacking reinforcements instead of finding a replacement.
