South African DJ Oscar Mbo clears rumours about him wearing fake designers at the Podcast and Chill with Mac G.
Oscar’s name surfaced the social media platforms after an EWN reporter wrote an article about seizing a luxury clothing brand container in Durban and social media users assumed that it was his container.
In the podcast and Chill’s latest episode with the DJ, Mac G posed questions to Oscar about how he felt when the social media users said it is him. He asked him, “How do you honestly feel about people calling you a scammer and you wear fake clothes?”
The DJ then replied and said, “At first, it disturbed me because I am also human. I do not even know how it started but it put me down.”
“So, you have never worn fake clothes?” Mac G asked.
Oscar replied and said, “I have worn fake clothes, but I can tell you where that came from, besides I was young. It’s crazy because I never even got to talk about it.”
He also added that, “It was a hard lesson to be learnt as I was also starting to become famous but I learnt from it.”
Chillers (people who watch the podcast) were excited to finally hear Oscar’s voice, they reacted and said:
“I’ve never heard this guy speak, thank you MacG for bringing him you are an OG.”
