Onezwa Mbola enters spring with pregnancy announcement

Published author and culinary content creator Onezwa Mbola, known for using items she has “grown, raised, and foraged,” took to her social media platforms on 1 September 2026 to announce her pregnancy with fans and followers.

Onezwa Mbola’s pregnancy reveal

The culinary creator posted a lovely spring-day video sharing all the ingredients flourishing in her garden that she plans to use in her cooking videos.

Toward the end of the video, she showed her baby bump and a pair of pink Minnie Mouse booties held by her and presumably her husband.

The timing of the reveal felt very intentional when taking into account the theme of renewal and fresh starts in the season. Her caption read: “Happy spring day, here’s to new beginnings and more growing.”

Gender speculations

The announcement came with many reactions. A few of her followers speculated that the baby is a girl because of the pink Minnie Mouse baby booties in the announcement video.

Fans show love

Onezwa built a beautiful social media platform through her slow-living and farm-to-table content style. Her fan base showed how genuine their love was for her when she published her first-ever cookbook, A Food Love Story. Many showed up at her book launches and bought copies, making the book a bestseller. They showed her a great deal of love through one of her biggest achievements.

They continue to show her love through this new phase of her life as messages of congratulations and love poured into her comment sections, happy for the expansion of her family.
