‘The Mommy Club’ star Ratile Mabitsela recently took to social media to reflect on the devastating loss of her husband, Elias Lehlogonolo Mabitsela, who passed away on 12 February.

In her first post since his death, Ratile shared that the past month had been an incredibly difficult journey, but she also expressed deep gratitude for the love and support she has received from those around her.

“A month later, and the journey of grief remains heavy. I am deeply grateful for the outpouring of love and support from family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances, and my online family and friends.

“Each kind word, prayer, and gesture has brought us comfort and healing during this turbulent time. Thank you for standing by us, embracing us with kindness and strength.”

She also took a moment to acknowledge Cartel Funeral Home for their role in helping her family say goodbye to Elias with dignity and respect.

She praised their compassionate service, saying their dedication made all the difference during such a painful time.

Before Elias’s passing, speculation about their marriage had already been making headlines.

Rumours swirled that the couple had been separated and were in the process of getting a divorce.

Reports also surfaced alleging infidelity and claims of domestic violence on both sides.

Despite the controversy, Ratile has remained silent on the matter, choosing instead to focus on grieving and honouring her husband’s memory.

She has not addressed the speculation, making it clear that, for now, her priority is healing and “moving forward with the support of her loved ones.”
