Nonku Williams dedicates herself to Jesus in ‘RHOD’ season 5

The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star and longest serving cast member, Nonku Williams is now married to her Lord and Saviour. Nonku revealed in a teaser of the coming season that she has turned a new leaf, and is now a married woman.

The reality star has been known to stir drama among the ladies with her confrontational approach and does not shy away from addressing the ‘elephant in the room’. On the very first episode of the first season of RHOD, Nonku dropped a bombshell by informing one of the former cast members, Ayanda Ncwane that she has a child with her late husband, the gospel icon- Sifiso Ncwane.

As expected, this revelation shocked Ayanda as she was not aware that this was the same Nonku that once featured in her marriage. The viewers of the show already know that Nonku stirs the pots which lead to controversy and uncontrollable fights sometimes. This was also seen when Nonku shared with the ladies in the absence of Ayanda, that before Sifiso died he had promised to leave Ayanda and marry her.

This rubbed another former cast member Nonkanyiso ‘LaChonco’ Chonco, who is friends with Ayanda, the wrong way, leading to an argument between her and Nonku.

The doting mother of three is one person who speaks or asks about what others would like to know, but has no courage to start the conversation. This was seen when Ayanda introduced LaChonco to the group, and Nonku started asking if she was married to the former president, Jacob Zuma.

In the upcoming season 5, Nonku vows to have changed as she lets God lead her way and guide her mouth. In a teaser shared by entertainment commentator, Phil Mphela, Nonku seems devoted in prayer, and is ready to walk a new path. How long will it last? Some wonder.
