With the holidays approaching, most people are preparing to go back home to family members they have not seen in a while.
With other households, it has become a norm to comment on people’s weight gain or loss and the question goes on what are you eating? or are you eating at all?
The South African singer, TV presenter, actress and model, Nandi Madida has recently shared sound advice to family members to stir away from comments that can come across as body shaming.
She recently took to her X (formerly Twitter) to implore family members to keep their comments about other family member’s weight when they visit home for festive holidays.
Dear family members can we all agree not to comment on other family members weight or aesthetics in general when they comeback home for the festive season? Can we just love each other and be grateful that we all get to see another festive season ❤️.
