With social media everywhere, most people love to share their big wins online. So, it was a total surprise when people found out that one of their favourite media personalities had been holding back some huge news for a few years.

Renowned actress Motsoaledi Setumo recently stunned many of her most loved Instagram followers when she took to the social media platform to wish her daughter a happy 4th birthday.

The talented actress shared a picture of herself taken from a maternity photoshoot, donning a designer-made N I M Couture dress while joyfully showing off her baby bump. While most people often post these sorts of pictures during the months leading up to their delivery – many were shocked to have only seen them four years later.

This comes as her pregnancy has been a surprise to many people, most of whom were not aware that she had a child – which was exactly how Motsoaledi would have preferred it.

Captioning her post, she wrote: “To the girl that saved my life, happy 4th birthday my Princess, Modimo Onkarabile. And YES, I can keep a secret.”

Shocked by the unexpected revelation many users rushed to the comments to express their astonishment.

“Teach us how to keep a secret, and most importantly how to choose your circle wisely. They definitely know how to keep and protect your precious secret, happy birthday to your Princess,” commented one user.

Another added: “Wow! Please pass the secret-keeping anointing this way. Congratulations Mama.”

In response to the well-received comments, Motsoaledi thanked those who had seen her in public but didn’t take it to public platforms.

She wrote, “Honestly?! My circle is amazing. My circle is more of a dot though… that’s why it was so easy to keep it under wraps. But also? God! So many people saw me at the hospital, the shops but no one brought it online! Thank you.”
