It has been proven that there’s nothing internet users appreciate more than authenticity and someone just being themselves. It’s important to recognise that people are not always accepted for who they are online. There is often criticism and negative commentary, which can lead some individuals to feel disheartened and leave the world of content creation.
Luckily, that was not the case for Corner Greeff, fondly known as CJ, a 17-year-old boy from Uitenhage in the Eastern Cape. CJ refers to himself as the internet nephew and he has been receiving so much love from TikTok users for his simple, innocent, and pure content. The teenager is best known for posting videos of himself telling his “unties and uncles” about his day at school, what homework he has, and how much he appreciates his mom.
Users often comment on how much of a sweet soul CJ is and that he is such a good kid, as he would also talk about how he has been helping his mom with house chores and cleaning. Apart from being a grade 11 learner, CJ also has a small business of his own where he sells blankets and bags that he knits and crochets himself.

As his internet presence grows, CJ has also been privileged enough to be recognised by relevant people and has been receiving gifts and packages from his followers and certain brands that would like to collaborate with him. This positively impacts his portfolio as a young entrepreneur and would help his business grow gradually.
His videos are always flooded with positive and encouraging comments such as these:
