Makhadzi responds to haters calling her ugly

Multi-award-winning singer Makhadzi had a venting session on social media where she addressed trolls and cyberbullies who shared negative comments about her physical appearance.

While live on Instagram, the Milandu Bhe hitmaker (whose real name is Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona) revealed that there are people who call her ugly every day. She added that she accepts herself the way she is but is tired of the negative comment made towards her.

“I ask myself a question – why are you saying this everyday, and it’s not my fans, it’s people with fake accounts. My fans are shocked that you guys call me ugly because they see the beautiful me and they know I love myself like that. They don’t see the ugliness that you are talking about, even my boyfriend gets shocked.”

MDN News shared a portion of the video of Makhadzi responding to haters on X (formerly Twitter).

A few X users in the comment section came to the singer’s defence and shared words of positivity.

One social media user said, “What? Who are those blind people? Makhadzi is the most beautiful woman in South Africa.”

“She’s being honest though. I also don’t see the ‘ugly’ people keep talking about and also when people say, ‘I’m so sorry people call you ugly,’ okay, what must she say? Thank you? Arg people can be annoying hey,” commented another.
