Late actress Connie Chiume stars in Netflix drama ‘Blood Legacy’

The late veteran actress and filmmaker Connie Chiume takes her final bow in the Netflix drama series, Blood Legacy premiering on the 20th of September.

As the South African movie industry still mourns her untimely passing after she suffered from a short illness, Netflix celebrates her work in the upcoming series she did before her passing.

According to news publication, News24, the actress would be portraying the character of the matriarch of a family as they battle to control their multi-billionaire company, featuring fellow actors: Xolile Tshabalala, Buyile Mdladla, Sello Maake ka-Ncube, Pallance Dladla, Enhle Mbali Mlotshwa, Dawn Thandeka King to name a few.

Taking to Instagram, Actor Spaces posted a short trailer with the caption, “When Khanyi Adesina returns home to Durban after years of estrangement, she finds her family and their business under threat. After her corrupt father is murdered for trying to go straight, she decides to stay and fight for control of the company in hopes of changing the family’s criminal legacy.”
