Khanyi Mars leaves Music Pulse

Khanyi Mars became known to many viewers through her work on Music Pulse, a music-focused show associated with the Podcast and Chill Network.

The platform, founded by MacG, has grown into one of the country’s biggest podcast and entertainment brands, featuring a variety of shows and personalities.

Her exit comes after missing recent episodes, and she did not reveal the exact reasons behind her departure. She thanked the entire network and did not hint at any conflict or controversy surrounding her exit.

At this stage, neither Podcast and Chill Network nor other network representatives have publicly shared additional details regarding her departure.

Social media reacts to the announcement

Following the Instagram story, fans and followers took to social media platforms to discuss the news. Some users praised Khanyi for her contribution to Music Pulse, while others speculated about her next career move.

“I wonder what made her quit,” commented one X user.

“At least Munaka appreciated us enough to have a farewell episode and explained why she was leaving,” expressed another.

Providing a possible reason for her exit, another internet user said: “She was my favourite. I think it’s the brands she was missing because of her association.”
