Veteran kwaito musician and songwriter, Kabelo Mabalane who is also popular as Bouga Luv has recently shown that rap runs in his blood veins even as a pastor.

This was witnessed in his latest sermon that he delivered at Rhema Bible Church which was inspired by a part of a chorus- You Cant Keep a Good Man Down from one of his hit songs, Dubula.

The former TKZee member revealed as part of his sermon that the song was inspired by a bible scripture. The congregation reacted in rejoice when he recited the lyrics of Dubula mid sermon.

“Paul says, ‘For I am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation.’ When that power is revealed. When that power is highlighted. When we grow in that power. That’s why I’ve titled the message this morning, ‘You Can’t Keep a Good Man Down.’ When you walk in this favour. When you walk in this Grace. Some of you will know I’ve written a song, ‘You Can’t keep a Good Man Down,” he preached.

MDN News took to X (formerly Twitter) to share part of his sermon.

His sermon did not only send the congregation into a frenzy, but it also sparked debate on the comment section on X.

One user said:

Kabelo ran to God and never looked back. If you think God can’t save you look at what salvation has done for Kabelo
