Internet users react to Samthing Soweto not being credited in new song

Singer and songwriter Samkelo Lelethu Mdolomba, popularly known as Samthing Soweto seems to have been robbed of credit in a new song.

The musician known for his angelic voice and hit singles has not been given his flowers for a newly released song titled, Amalanga Awafani featuring Mas Musiq, Lawd Weezy, DJ Maphorisa and StarQuality.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) he posted a broken heart emoji causing many internet users to call for people to boycott this song, given that his voice was on it.

This would not be the first time a musician has expressed how the music industry has exploited them, as it was recently reported that the amapiano artist Sir Trill, exposed a certain alleged ‘grootman’ for not allowing him to release his music with certain artists.
