Thousands of students along with their parents and family members are celebrating their hard work that finally paid off as they now officially became degree holders.

However, this does not seem to be the case for the family of a student from the University of Limpopo who passed away last year in November.

The University like always, shared videos of the graduation season. Amongst the shared videos, there is a video that touched social media users.

In the video, the family of the late student were called to receive her Posthumus degree, two ladies walked up to the stage whilst they wiped their eyes. The camera then gives us a 360 view of the hall while we spotted other students crying.

TikTokers took to the comment section to share their condolences:

“Emotional moment congratulations to the late Kgadima Vinolia, may her soul rest in peace.”

“My best friend passed on 2 days before the graduation ceremony in 2013 she was also doing bachelor of arts in communication at NWU. May the soul Kgadima rest in peace.” wrote another one.

Another one said: “This is sad triggered so much pains, I went to the university in 2016 to collect my niece luggage, she passed away & I went to get her luggage’s from Res! Sending hugs to Vinolia’s family.”
