Internet renames Valentine’s Day to Lerato Kganyago Day, here’s why

by Bongiwe Mati

Imagine having one of the most important days of the year being named after you. Well, that is what many internet users have termed Valentine’s Day, renaming it Lerato Kganyago Day.

Radio and television show host Lerato Kganyago can rightfully claim the day as hers as she has continuously had the most lavish Valentine’s Day surprises from her husband Thami Ndala.

In 2020 the couple had a traditional celebration in an intimate gathering at their lavish home, pictures and videos were later shared by close friends such as Craig Jacobs.

Celebrating the day of love, Lerato’s previous Valentine’s Day gifts includes a house full of red roses with a saxophonist and a piano artist serenading the media personality.

Thami also booked a stadium just for Lerato, with a cosy set up, a private chef and the queen of vocals Zonke Dikana chanting her popular love songs.

In 2022 Thami had helicopters flying out I love you signs for his wife, before gifting her with Mercedes Benz G-Wagon. Lerato also received a boutique hotel, 12 On Hillel Villa & Spa situated in North Cliff of Johannesburg.

Last year, the couple went on an international getaway, visiting a few countries. She later thanked her husband who, like always made her valentines day special by booking international singing sensation Kenny Latimore to singe her his wife.

Anticipating an exciting day in the Ndala household, internet users had this to say about the “Lerato Day”.
