A young lady embraces herself as she is told she looks like the late South African songwriter-singer and dancer Brenda Nokuzola Fassie.

Brenda is one of the most iconic artists that will forever be celebrated and remembered by mzansi, not only did she write songs that people loved but she also wrote songs that she could sing as an activist.

The young lady dedicated her TikTok account, @oluhlencese to Brenda Fassie as she shared videos of herself singing Brenda’s songs. Recently, she shared a video of herself standing next to Brenda’s statue which is situated in Johannesburg, Newtown.

In the video the lady is singing into the mic, you just can’t miss the resemblance between her and the statue as it is the only thing that is screaming.

Her comment section was flooded with a lot of messages with TikTokers saying different things, “Brenda doesn’t get bored in heaven she just watches you singing her songs next to her statue.”

One user said, “Now I believe when they say somewhere in the world there is someone who looks like you. I could swear I nearly said you are her daughter.”

“You have a beautiful voice but are u related to Brenda or cos u both Look alike?” asked one user, she replied, “No I’m not related.”

Another one said, “Even Bongani doesn’t come close to looking like our Queen as much as you do.”
