Internet convinced Themba and Bridget are acting on ‘Makoti Are You The One?’

Reality shows often walk a fine line between authenticity and manipulation. While they are presented as unscripted and spontaneous, many shows are influenced by producers to create more dramatic or entertaining storylines.

This seems to be the case with Bridget Kwedi and Themba Maseko’s relationship, as the internet is convinced that their on-screen stints on Mzansi Magic’s reality show, ‘Makoti Are You The One?‘, are scripted.

This reality show is set against the backdrop of four brave women who walk into their potential in-laws’ home. With each hoping to win the ultimate prize: the family’s blessing to marry their sons.

The reality show has offered a rollercoaster of raw emotion, culture clashes and real talks about relationships. However, mzansi is not convinced about the authenticity of Themba and Bridget’s story. Many believe that they are acting for the camera.

This comes after Themba revealed to Bridget that he would like a polygamous marriage, after Bridget found him with a girl in his room. The internet was left unsure after Bridget revealed that Themba is a serial cheater, and his girls always find her and leave her in the relationship.

Another stint was when Bridget found out that Themba slept with her sister, Nomonde, and they had a pregnancy scare. These incidents led mzansi to believe that they are following a script.
