GALLERY: Inside the Netflix series Griselda premiere

It’s all about glitz and glam at these star-studded events. Netflix recently organised a private screening of their new drama series, Griselda. The show is based on the life of a successful Colombian businesswoman named Griselda who went on to create one of the most profitable drug cartels in history.

Sofia Vergara portrays the character of Griselda in the series. The show will premiere in South Africa on January 25th, exclusively on Netflix.

The theme was 70s disco-glam. In attendance, to name a few, was none other than Filmmaker Connie Ferguson with her daughter Lesedi Matsunyane-Ferguson, Former The Wife actor Mondli Makhoba, Zola Nombana, Solo & Dineo Langa, and many more stars.

The mother and daughter duo rocked their outfits and Lesedi captioned her post, “Channeled my inner 70s queen with THE Queen @connie_ferguson at the #GriseldaZA Premiere, hosted by @netflixsa.”

 

A vast number of Instagram users expressed their admiration for the look created and lauded their ability to adhere to the given theme.

While on X (formerly Twitter), entertainment commentator Phil Mphela posted pictures of the celebs’ looks.

Meanwhile, actress Zola Nombona, who rocked the red hair look and the gorgeous glam, didn’t come to play.

X users expressed how beautiful she looks.

At the premiere, the stunningly beautiful Dineo Langa, accompanied by her charming husband Solo, turned heads with their impeccable style. Dineo looked breathtaking in her carefully selected ensemble, and Solo’s dapper suit added to his sophisticated appearance.
