‘Friends of Amstel’ set to take over Durban and Johannesburg

‘Friends of Amstel’ is described as “a timeless festival that combines good friends, good vibes, good music, and fun games with Amstel Beer,” according to their social media, and after a phenomenal two-day extravaganza in Johannesburg last November, the festival is back and is set to make an electric debut in the Mother City, Cape Town, and Durban.

Unlike last year, this year’s event series spans three cities, each stop bringing its own flavour to the festival. The journey kicked off in Cape Town, where the energy and excitement set the tone for what others could expect. Next up, the vibrant city of Durban will host the event, followed by a grand finale in Johannesburg.

The event planners have wasted no time announcing their Durban line-up which is sure to shake things up for eventgoers. Nasty C, Sjava, Blxckie, DBN Gogo, Distruction Boyz, Morda, and many more are among the A-listers that will be gracing the stage.

The excitement of the internet users is palpable and can be felt through the screen, particularly in the two cities where the festival is taking place for the first time. Regardless of weather conditions being slightly unfavourable, the people are ready to have a good time with Amstel.

Internet users took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and commented;
